Professor of Religions, Bishop’s College, Kolkata. Lecturer since 1980. Professor since 1990. Also a Faculty at North India Institute of Post- Graduate Theological Studies (NIIPGTS), Kolkata, since 1981. Associated with South Asia Theological Research Institute (SATHRI), Bangalore, as Professor guiding doctoral candidates since 1993. Dean of the Doctoral Programme of NIIPGTS since 1999.William Paton Fellow of the Selly Oak Colleges, U.K. in 1997 and gave lectures in the Universities of Edinbergh, Bristol, and Birmingham. Visiting Professor At Hartford Seminary, USA in 2002.
